This week our nation witnessed the devastating impact of Hurricane Harvey.  As one trillion gallons of rain came down in Texas, leaving 32,000 people in shelters, many of us had the same reaction: “How can I help?”  Like many of you, we at MOSS, had the same reaction.

According to The Texas Diaper Bank, diapers are not provided by disaster relief agencies.  It is something that many people don’t think about; yet a huge necessity for families in Texas that have lost their home to Hurricane Harvey.

Join us for two donation days

MOSS is hosting two donation days to raise items for the Texas Diaper Bank.  On September 5th and 12th from 10am-3pm, drop off your donation at our office in Chantilly and our Community Relations Team will handle the rest!

The Texas Diaper Bank is asking for the following items:

  • Baby diapers: any brand and any size
  • Pull-ups
  • Formula
  • Wipes
  • Adult diapers
  • New or gently used baby items: clothes, blankets, bottles, breast pumps and small toys

Please consider stopping by our office with your donation on September 5th or September 12th.  If you are unable to attend one of the Donation Days please make a special arrangement with our Community Relations Manager, Jenn Zschunke, to stop by another day of the week.

Anyone who brings a donation to our office will receive a $50 MOSS gift certificate!

The Northern Virginia community is something special and we hope you all will come together with us to spread positivity to those whose lives have been dramatically changed by Hurricane Harvey.
