This project set out to eliminate the feeling of being tight on space with the layout of the home’s main level, especially the boxy feel of the kitchen and (rarely used) dining room. In addition, the homeowners wanted a mudroom created that would provide a new entryway for their busy family and that also included a main level laundry room.
