As we approach the end of the year, I’ve been reflecting on just how much 2025 has meant to all of us at MOSS. It’s been a year of growth, learning, and meaningful connections—and none of it would have been possible without you.
I want to personally thank each of you for trusting us with your homes. It’s a responsibility we never take lightly, and one that guides the decisions we make every day.
Investing in People, Serving Homeowners Better
One of the things I’m most proud of this year is the continued development of our people. At MOSS, we believe that when we invest in our team, we can deliver a smoother, more thoughtful experience for the homeowners we serve—and this year we did exactly that:
- We welcomed 11 new team members across design, architecture, project management, and administration—which means more capacity to start projects sooner, more on-site support during construction, and more attention to detail throughout your remodel. Each one was chosen for their talent, character, and commitment to treating your home like their own.
- We had the privilege of completing 83 home projects this year, and each one sharpened how we plan, communicate, and build. From helping a Fairfax family finally host the holidays in a kitchen that could fit three generations cooking together, to completing a major Arlington addition on a tight lot by working closely with neighbors and the county, every project taught us something that helps future homeowners have a better experience.
- We received 41 new 5-star reviews this year, and a few themes came up again and again: professionalism, clear communication, and a truly comprehensive approach. Hearing those words reinforces what matters most to homeowners—and helps us continue refining how we guide projects from first conversation to final walkthrough.
Looking Ahead to the New Year
As we move into the new year, our focus remains on people—our team and our customers. That means expanding our capabilities in ways that give homeowners more clarity, flexibility, and support:
- Building Dream Homes from the Ground Up: We’re introducing custom home building, allowing families who love working with MOSS to bring their vision to life from the ground up—with the same care and process they’ve come to expect.
- Growing Our Reach: We’re expanding into Washington, DC, and Montgomery County, which means more locally based teams and greater ability to support families across the region.
- Introducing Renolution: To make homeownership easier, we recently launched Renolution—a platform that connects homeowners with trusted, vetted partners for services outside of MOSS’s niche, like roofing, landscaping, and smaller handyman projects. With Renolution, you’ll have reliable options for every part of your home—even when it’s not a MOSS project.
Our Commitment Remains the Same
Through all of this, one thing remains constant: our commitment to care—care for your home, care for your experience, and care for the people who make that experience possible.
We also know this year has brought its own mix of busyness, uncertainty, and change for many families across our region. Choosing to move forward with a home project—often while balancing work, family, and everything else life brings—is no small decision. We’re truly grateful you trusted us to be part of that journey.
Developing our team and helping them learn, grow, and thrive is one of the most important parts of my role. When our people feel supported, they can support you better—with clearer communication, fewer surprises, and a more confident experience overall. I’m proud to lead a team that shows up every day with care, professionalism, and deep respect for the homes and families we serve.
Thank You
Thank you for being part of the MOSS family. It means more to me than I can express.
If you’re already thinking ahead to 2026—whether that includes a remodel, an addition, or a new custom home—our team is beginning to plan for the year ahead, and we’d be honored to talk through what’s possible for your home.
And on behalf of our entire team, I wish you and your family a peaceful start to 2026.
